Separate a cell that contains multiple values into different columns according to a delimiter (such as a space or comma) or a column break location in your data.

- Select a cell or column of cells containing the content you want to split.
- Click

- Select whether to use delimiters or fixed width to split the data. Note: Delimited data is separated by characters such as a space or comma. Fixed width data is separated by column breaks that you define.

- Select the check boxes of the delimiters to separate columns of cells. Select the Treat consecutive delimiters as one check box if your data contains delimiters that appear consecutively. Select a Text qualifier to ignore certain delimiters.

- Select the cells to contain the split data.
- To format the data in the new columns, click the data header in the Data preview section, and then select a destination data format.
